I bought these to do fieldwork - to protect my legs against snakes! They are great, comfortable and very waterproof - I've been in wetlands and treat them like gumboots - can't believe how well they keep the water out! (Posted on 12/01/12)

These boots are great for hanging out in and casual riding, really comfy, if anything a bit too roomy, but I have slim calves. I too wear medium-thick socks to prevent slipping. Velcro at top tends to pop open when I squat down. Other than that, I love wearing these boots, they've been terrific over winter. (Posted on 5/12/11)

very roomy foot and adjustable calf great for mature riders with foot problems and chunky legs. No zipper but easy enough to put on. thick socks will reduce foot movement. (Posted on 5/05/11)
