Equimec Worm Paste - The world’s first choice in parasite protection, Equimec is a broad-spectrum parasite control. Control roundworms bots and summer sores - EQUIMEC has a wide safety margin. It can be used in horses of all ages including mares at any stage of pregnancy and breeding stallions. Effective against Benzimidazole (BZ) resistant worms (small stronglyes) - some strains of bloodworms have become resistant to BZ products, EQUIMEC can control BZ resistant worms.
Equimec Worm Paste directions for use: Each syringe (6.42g) treats 600kg bodyweight. Adjust the dosage control knob to your horse’s bodyweight, lock in place and press plunger. For example, for a 100kg horse, administer 1.07g. Insert the syringe into the side of the horse’s mouth in the gap between the front and back teeth. Advance the plunger as far as it will go, press the plunger to the chosen dosage, depositing the medication on the rear of the tongue. Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
