That’s why we have created the WeatherBeeta Green-Tec 1200D Detach-A-Neck using recycled plastics for the outer fabric, polyfill and lining. Each rug saves over 380* plastic bottles from going into landfill or the ocean. But that’s not the only reason why this rug is a better choice for the environment. The way we have made it uses far less (over 50% less) energy to produce the fabric than a traditional rug. Plus it is packaged in recyclable packaging that is also made from PCR (post-consumer recyclable plastic) and our PU waterproof coating of which 27% is created using recycled camera lenses further reducing the environmental impact of our Green-Tec range.
We hope one day all rugs will be made this way.
