1. How waterproof is my rug?
A: Our WeatherBeeta turnout rugs outer fabric is 100% waterproof. The fabric is bonded with a waterproof and breathable membrane that provides a barrier with taped seams to lock the elements out. The membrane stops water droplets penetrating the rug and allows the horse’s natural sweat and excess moisture to escape and evaporate quickly, keeping them cool, dry and comfortable.
2. Can I wash my rug?
A: Yes you can wash your rug by hand or in a front loader washing machine. Check out our blog and video on how to care for your rug.
3. How do I measure my horse for a rug?
A: Choosing a correctly sized rug for your horse can be confusing at times. Check out our video on how to measure your horse for a rug. Or head into one of our 50 Horseland stores for some guidance and assistance from our friendly team.
4. Do rugs come in all shapes and sizes?
A: Yes they do. We offer rug sizes from 3’0 to 7’3. We also have specifically designed wide rugs for our bigger horse and specifically designed pony ranges for our smallest horses.
5. What weights do your rugs come in?
A: We have all different rug weights starting from 0g fill to 300g poly fill to suit your horse. Even better our top three ComFiTec level rugs offer the ability to add or remove rug liners to suit you and your horses needs.
