Queensland Flood Appeal

Thank you to everyone for supporting the Horseland Queensland Flood Appeal.

Thanks to your generous donations, Quest has raised over $20,000, which has been used to deliver much needed feed and medical treatment to those most in need. For those of you who have donated goods through Horseland stores, these products have been distributed to affected horses and owners.

Horseland has already donated essential products and hay to rescued horses in Toowoomba, Gatton and Ipswich.

We still need your help...

Quest will be accepting donations for the Horseland QLD Flood Appeal through Horseland stores, via the Quest tins. Donations can no longer be made specifically for the Horseland QLD Flood Appeal online.

Quest is still working on the ground in Queensland to deliver much needed feed. The reason for not having online donations available is due to Quest trying to raise money for the horse community nationwide – so as not to exclude those affected by the Victorian floods, and possible WA bushfires.

New donated goods

All Horseland stores will continue to act as collection points for donated goods. Click here to find your nearest store. These goods must be new, within use-by dates and uncontaminated to further protect the health of horses. Items can be purchased from any equestrian supplier.

Products in high demand:

*Lite combo and standard rugs

*Canvas rugs

*Cotton rugs

*Mesh and airflow rugs

*Lead ropes

*Fly masks

*Cohesive bandages

*Betadine products

*Medicated shampoos and lotions

*Fly repellent

*Hoof ointment

*Grooming products

*Feed buckets

Goods will be distributed to the worst affected horses and horse owners through Horseland stores located in Toowoomba, Ispwich, Rockhampton, Bundaberg and Jindalee.

Cash donations

In addition to accepting donations through Horseland stores, via the Quest tins, Horseland customers can also choose to donate Horseland Gift Cards to Quest which will be distributed to those in genuine need. This option will give recipients the ability to choose the products that they really need and pick the correct size rugs, headcollars etc.

You can follow us on Facebook for regular updates on the appeal and Quest activity.

We thank you in anticipation for your help and support.
