The Inspo Behind Our Spring/Summer 2023 Rugs

Nothing says spring/summer like some beautiful light-coloured rugs, and our new collection has ticked the box with some super cute colourways and prints.

The boho rainbow print is not like our typical rug print because we’ve gone for the more earthy tones of green and dusty pink which complement each other beautifully. Did you know rainbows are a sign of hope and new beginnings? We thought this was the perfect print to head into a new season with new beginnings. This print is available in the WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Plus Dynamic II Combo Neck Lite and WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Plus Dynamic II Standard Neck Lite which both feature a super tough 1200D outer and 0 gram polyfill making it perfect for mild days. This style of rug is also compatible with our liner system so you can easily add layers for extra warmth. For the warmer months, we also have it available in the WeatherBeeta Lite Summer Sheet Combo Neck which features over 90% UV protection and is made from a strong and lightweight 190g outer shell with 60% cotton for natural breathability.

Introducing potentially our favourite print of the season, the seahorse print! The warmer seasons bring beachy vibes and we had to pay homage to that with our fabulous marine-focused print. This print sports sea horses combined with seashells in stunning turquoise and gold colours that pop. There’s no need to hold your breath any longer, we knew it would be your fave as well so it’s available in the WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Essential Combo Neck Lite and WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Essential Standard Neck Lite which both sport a 1200D outer with 0g polyfill perfect for mild days. Our Navajo print has been a staple in our range for a while now and this season it’s back in a lovely mustard and turquoise combination in the WeatherBeeta ComFiTec Essential Combo Neck Lite Plus style. The Navajo print has been inspired by the arts of the Navajo Native American people, incorporating a diamond line pattern. Being available in the lite plus weight means this rug has 50g polyfill which is fantastic for our colder states in Australia offering your horse just the right amount of warmth and a 1200D waterproof and breathable outer.

This print may prickle your fancy! The Saxon cactus print originated from the idea that we needed a print that would help tackle summer. Cactus plants are hardy and cope with the heat extremely well, making them the perfect print for warmer weather. It’s available in the Saxon Robust 1200D Combo Neck Lite and Saxon Robust 1200D Standard Neck Lite which both feature a tough 1200D outer with 0g polyfill. For the hotter weather, you can get the cactus goodness in the Saxon Air Mesh Combo Neck.

Ice scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! We love a playful print, so decided we needed to do one in our popular Kool Coat range. When we think of summer snacks the first thing that pops to mind is a cool ice cream which is where the amazing new ice cream print idea was born. We know on those warm days our Kool Coat Airstream are the perfect rugs to keep your horse cool, but now they’ll look even cuter. Our original colour combination didn’t come out as planned, but once we saw these two colours together we realised we had stumbled onto something special. The stunning pastel blue and pastel purple just ooze spring and summer and we love it. Following on from our trend of light colours rugs, this season we’re offering a canvas rug in taupe. Dark colours typically attract more heat so for spring and summer we like to have light colours to keep our horses cooler.
